About Us

Mighty Student Living is Lancaster’s largest and fastest-growing student accommodation managing agent.

We set up our website to advertise properties on behalf of Landlords throughout the UK. However, we have over 350 properties throughout Lancaster and all properties available in Lancaster are managed by Mighty Student Living. This is important as it gives you peace of mind that you know who you will be dealing with during your stay - we collect your rent and deal with all repairs and other management issues.

We are passionate about providing quality, affordable accommodation. We handle repairs very quickly and aim to provide an enjoyable stay in your student accommodation.

We provide a range of sizes of accommodation, all in good locations, either in the centre of Lancaster or within walking distance from the centre, primarily providing accommodation for students at Lancaster University and the University of Cumbria. We also provide accommodation for professionals to rent on a room by room basis.

We are members of and regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors – the most stringent regulators of the lettings business. This is a big deal for you as a student because you have peace of mind that we must comply with the highest professional standards. Most student letting companies are not regulated by any governing body and we are the only RICS accredited student accommodation company in Lancaster!

Meet The Team

Beccy: Beccy joined our sister business Mighty House in 2018 and has recently joined Mighty Student Living following becoming a student landlord herself. Beccy is here to help with all your letting needs whether you are a tenant or a landlord. She'll offer expert advice, great customer service and an honest approach. Beccy completed her estate agency exams in 2018/19 and therefore can assist with anything you might need. 

Ben: Ben is one of our Senior Property Managers. Ben always has a smile on his face and strives to provide the best customer service possible. In Bens spare time, he plays keyboard and loves to sing!

Luke: Luke is one of our Senior Property Managers. Luke has worked previously in sales which has helped him gain plenty of property knowledge as well as giving him customer service experience. You can often find Luke travelling the UK playing professional baseball!

Hannah: Hannah is our Utilities Coordinator. Hannah is perfect for this role and is an energy meter expert! If there’s anything she doesn’t know about utilities, it’s not worth knowing. Hannah makes jewellery in her spare time and you can often find her selling her wares at Lancaster Market!

Ryan: Ryan is our Property Inspector. He has a keen eye for detail and leaves no stone unturned. When Ryan isn’t flipping mattresses and looking in fridges, he’s often found at concerts and streaming Fortnite!

Mikey: Mikey is one of our Property Managers. He's a firm favourite with landlords and tenants alike, and won the office award for best brew maker. When he is not making amazing brews, he is coaching Morecambe FC's Womens team or playing football or tennis!

Alex: Alex is a temporary assistant who recently graduated in Marketing from Lancaster University. Drawing on his learnings, Alex helps out with our TikTok, delivering an engaging level of energy in his property tours. On the weekends you will find him selling Pokemon cards with Hannah at the market. 

Emma: Emma is one of our temporary members of staff. Emma is always smiling and will always go out of her way to help people. Emma has joined us before she goes to Australia. Emma is very sporty and will try her hand at every sport.

Sam: Sam is our maintenance administrator. Sam is the cog that links contractors, landlords and tenants in the Mighty Student Living maintenance machine. Sam's hobbies include baking delicious cakes and she often participates in races!

Megan: Megan recently joined our team as maternity cover. She covers a wide range of roles and is the Swiss Army knife of the company at the moment. Megan holds a degree in fine art and also enjoys arts and crafts. She also competed in swimming and running races for Wales.

Emily: Emily is one of our Property Managers. Emily studied Law at university and has a background in Property Law. She has been a great addition to our team after joining in early 2024. When Emily is not working, she enjoys playing rugby and football!

Gilly: Gilly is another one of temporary members of staff. She sits at the front of the office and greets everyone with a smile! Gilly is another one of our arty members of staff and enjoys painting in her spare time as well as tucking in to a good book!

Peter: The owner and Director of Mighty Student Living, Peter is obsessed with providing excellent customer service and takes immense pride in our success being driven by word-of-mouth referrals. With a love for fitness and a commitment to delivering excellence, Peter leads our team to create memorable experiences for our valued customers.
