Fixflo is a property maintenance and repair reporting software. It is incredibly easy to use as well as it notifies our team and available contractors immediately. This is a quick guide on how to use this software and get your problem sorted out ASAP!


The process

If you noticed a fault in your house you should report it as soon as possible. Once you have sent the repair report via Fixflo our Property Maintenance Manager will get an email to review the problem. Next, depending on the property, the maintenance manager will either contact the landlord or appropriate contractor and assign the repair to them. The contractor or the landlord will get a request to fix the problem as well as your contact details - you will get a notification that your repair has been assigned and what day the contractor will come. You can contact the landlord/contractor yourself to specify the problem or decide a convenient time of the repair.

Below is a quick guide on how to fill out the repair report.

1. No log-in needed

The beauty of this system is that you don't need to register or log-in to report a fault in your student accommodation. Just simply go to Mighty Student Living page and press 'Tenants' at the top of the page. You will see the button 'report a repair', just press it and you will get to the Fixflo report page. Alternatively, press here or the button below.

2. Choose your issue

Once you are on the page, it's all smooth sailing. Just choose a picture that represents the nature of the problem and press on it. There are options for all possible problems in the house (from the roof to wifi), including an 'other' option, so we are ready to help you out no matter what!



3. Give more detail

Once you have selected the specific problem area in step 1, the system will ask to give more detail - what is the broken device/appliance/furnishing. For example, my dishwasher is clogged and not draining water properly. In the first step I would choose Kitchen, next I would specify that it is an appliance problem. Next, I choose which gadget needs repair

Once you have chosen the problem, you should give more details about the item itself. You will see a list of possible problems with the item you are reporting, but if your issue is not listed, you can always type it yourself. Next, fill in the technical information about the item, such as, the make (brand) of the item and any other details that are available to you. Try to provide as much specific information as you can, this helps to find the best contractor that can fix your problem the fastest. Next step will be to add a picture of the issue. This not only helps understand the problem but also locate it in the house.


4. Give your address and contact details

Once you specified the problem and uploaded pictures you need to choose what property the issue is located in. Start typing your address and a drop-down list will appear. Next, fill in your contact details such as your name, email and mobile number. Press 'next' and confirm your repair request. DONE! The help is coming!
